Icebox Logistics Services, Inc. is celebrating nine years of excellence in cold chain solutions. Led by Gilbert Singson, General Manager, MPs from Manila, Iloilo, Cagayan De Oro, and Davao gathered in a virtual celebration. 

Present at the online event was John Casupang, Chief Operating Officer of the Logistic Cluster, who served as the keynote speaker of the program. Lady Lacson, Magsaysay Shipping and Logistics’ Human Resources Officer for Talent Management, hosted a fun and engaging trivia game to add spice and excitement to the company’s anniversary celebration.

During the round-the-table sharing, Icebox MPs expressed how grateful they are for the company’s full support in these challenging times. Amidst COVID-19, Icebox teams continue to deliver cold chain solutions, providing refrigerated container services and consolidation, cargo forwarding, reefer van land transfer, and reefer van storage, 24/7, nationwide. Way back 2011, Icebox started servicing four clients and has grown to partner with more than a hundred clients over the year

He also congratulated everyone and extended his gratitude to MPs’ families for their support. It is a tough job that they do, catering to customer needs as late as midnight and taking calls as early as 4 am. He acknowledged Icebox’s frontliners at the pier, container yards, and branch operations, managers, and support teams, as well as their valued customers and supportive vendors and partners.

“As we embrace the new normal, we will continue our commitment to defining what true quality customer experience means. Let’s keep moving forward and strive for excellence in everything we do. We have survived, and we will overcome this!” remarked Gilbert.

He also encouraged everyone to continue to be disciplined at work and in life – and be consistent at it. He also added that #TeamIcebox is #TeamTayo and #TeamLaban, banking on the philosophy that ‘an organization, no matter how well-designed, is only as good as the people who live and work in it.’
